PNP’s sustainability at Christmasworld- Frankfurt 2023

Consumer interest in sustainable products is growing all over the world.
Many companies are slowly adapting to this new trend, but we at Piennepi have always paid particular attention to the research for ecological solutions. From the beginning we have established ourselves on the Italian and then European market as a leading company in the production of items for wrapping flowers and gift items. In recent years, with particular attention to eco-sustainability, PNP has expanded its range with completely Eco-Friendly products and materials. Aiming towards an increasingly green future, we will be in fact present at Christmasworld with completely compostable packaging.

PNP has been included by Messe Frankfurt in the “Ethical Style Guide 2023”, the guide that informs about eco-friendly products. A recognition that satisfies us and encourages us to continue our commitment to the search for eco-friendly products with less environmental impact. The continuous research towards eco-sustainable products; has meant that PNP adopts PLA which is a plastic of organic origin and completely biodegradable. The “Compost-Film”, produced by PLA, in fact, comes from nature and returns to nature. Compared to fossil based materials, PLA generates 70% less CO2 emissions. It is completely bio-based and recyclable thanks to the catalytic reaction with a recovery margin of 98.5%. The “Compost-Film”, produced from PLA is in fact 100% biodegradable in 180 days, through industrial composting.
This product will be presented by PNP at the next edition of Christmasworld, in Frankfurt, with an entire wall dedicated to eco-friendly products. sustainable products, including the new entry “Compost-Film”.

Christmasworld is the largest INTERNATIONAL trade fair completely dedicated to the world of CHRISTMAS, seasonal and festive decorations, which will take place in Frankfurt from 3^rd  to 7^th  February 2022. Every year is the perfect opportunity to present the latest news for Christmas, but not only that: at Christmasworld you can also find all the news on how to decorate large and outdoor areas for wholesalers and retailers, shopping centers and city centers. The packaging is always present, complementing the existing product ranges and opening up new perspectives and giving added value for exhibitors and visitors. PNP will present the new ECO LINE Spring and Everyday 2023, in addition to the novelties for Christmas 2023.
